This explains what Race Radar collects, why, and what you can do about it. The short version: we keep only what we need to send you alerts, and we never sell your data.
What we collect
- Your email address, to sign you in and send alerts and digests.
- Your settings and watchlist: divisions, races, days, regions and alert preferences.
- Notification subscriptions for the devices where you turn notifications on (a technical address from your browser's push service, and the device type).
- Billing records: your plan, dates and PayPal subscription or order IDs. PayPal handles your payment details; we never see your card or bank information.
- Basic logs: request logs kept by our hosting provider for a short time, and a record of which alerts were sent to you.
What we don't do
- No advertising trackers, no selling or renting your data, no sharing except with the providers below.
Who processes it for us
- Vercel (hosting), Upstash (database), Resend (email), PayPal (payments), and your browser's push service (Apple, Google or Mozilla) to deliver notifications.
Your choices
- Turn notifications off per device in Settings, and change or stop emails there too.
- To see, export or delete everything we hold about you, email hello@raceradar.fit from your account's address. We reply within 30 days. Deleting your account cancels any subscription at the end of its paid period.
Cookies
One cookie keeps you signed in. The site also saves your filters and (before you sign in) your stars in your browser's storage.
