HYROX resale: is it safe?
Short answer: there's no official HYROX resale marketplace. A ticket can only change hands through a name change, which requires the seller's FLEX or LITE FLEX add-on and must be done by 7:59 am (event time) the day before their race. Without it, a "resold" ticket can't be put in your name.
Warning signs in groups and DMs
- The seller can't show the ticket includes FLEX or LITE FLEX.
- They want payment by bank transfer, crypto, gift cards or "friends and family".
- They sell "all categories, all days" or ask you to DM them first. Real athletes sell one ticket.
- They offer to move a ticket to another day or division. HYROX doesn't allow that.
The safer route
When FLEX holders cancel, their spots go back into the official shop. You can buy them there at face value, with your own name on the ticket. In the last 11 hours we've been logging, that happened 97 times across all races.
