How fast do reopened HYROX spots sell out?

Live from the official shops. In the last 14 days, sold-out HYROX race days came back 2,189 times across 50 races. For the 2,064 that have sold out again, this is how many were still on sale after:

After coming backStill on sale
5 minutes79%
15 minutes64%
30 minutes52%
1 hour39%
2 hours26%

Half were gone again within 35 minutes. Race Radar checks every shop every 5 minutes, so "5 minutes" means still there at our next check.

What it means for ticket alerts

The clock starts when the place comes back, not when you see the alert. An alert that reaches you within a few minutes finds the place still on sale about 79% of the time. One that arrives half an hour later, about 52% of the time. An hour later, 39%.

That's why an email you check at lunchtime so often lands on a sold-out page: by the time you click, someone else has the place. It isn't a broken alert; it's how fast reopened HYROX places go.

On Race Radar's free plan, alerts are bundled into one email an hour, so many arrive after the place has gone again (and when that happens, the link tells you how long it lasted). The Race Pass and Pro send every opening to your phone the moment Race Radar sees it.

How to give yourself the best chance

  1. Get the alert fast. Phone notifications beat email; email beats checking by hand.
  2. Be ready before it fires. Payment details to hand, your division and day decided.
  3. Be flexible. Weekday days at big races often still have places when the weekend is sold out, and some days come back far more often than others: see each race's page.
  4. Only buy in the official shop, or through HYROX's official name change. Never pay a stranger up front.

Don't refresh the shop all day. Race Radar checks every official HYROX ticket shop every 5 minutes and tells you the moment the day you want reopens. Free by email; instant phone alerts on the Race Pass or Pro.
